The Rank Size Rule has once again been proved invaild due to the information above. Durban having a population of 3584206 is nearly as large as South Africa's largest city Cape Town whcih has a population of 3803032 instead of the estimate of 1901516. The treand continues that the estimates just get way too low for the actual populations of the other largest citie. The actually populations remain in the millions whereas the estimates drop below that proving the Rank Size Rule invaild.
